About this listen

Peacetime can be a rough adjustment for the battle-hardened Merry Band of Pirates.

Especially when aliens don’t get the memo that the shooting is over.

Loved this one. I was concerned after reading some reviews said it didn't "move the story forward". I just dont get that criticism. Without giving anything away, the story explores the limitations of the safety that the Elder weapons provide and the lengths to which the Senior species are willing to go to put a stop to the humans development. This is the first story with primarily Senior species interaction, and its very entertaining. Although most of these episodes have a very similar storyline, this one was one of my favorites.

This is a great addition to the Saga.

Great as always. This book continued the arc with a great cliff hanger. I cannot wait for the next one.

Amazing!

Craig Alanson has knocked it out of the park once again, as the Expeditionary Force saga continues to be one of my favorite reads. R.C Bray brings this universe to life with yet another amazing performance. They are an unstoppable duo, just like Skippy and Joe.

Expeditionary Force books are laugh out loud funny. RC Bray brings the characters to life. It is amazing how one person can craft a unique voice for all the characters. I have enjoyed every book in the series. At the beginning of each book it is impossible to predict where the story winds up at the end. I can't wait to find out what Craig Alanson has planned for the Merry Band of Pirates and the Mavericks. I am sure I am going to love it.

Best SciFi Series, ever!

The only bad part of the book is that it ended and now I have to wait for the next one to come out.

Amazing book!

I can speak for the whole fandom by saying that I was excited to see the state of the galaxy after the events of book 10 (Critical Mass).

Mr. Alanson is having lots of fun creating this galaxy of sassy, smart, and devious characters.

Also, Bob is doing a fantastic job bringing these characters to live via voice. I feel that Exforce is a perfect child who's parents are Craig and Bob.

I had began to worry that some portion of my love for this series of novels was due to my total and complete love for R.C. Bray. The dulcet tones... the commitment to AAAAaaaaAaawsome.

I’ve listened to other works that he’s read, and discovered that the author plays a strong role in the narrative.

Thank you, Mr Alanson. And thank you Mr. Bray. I am a satisfied monkey

Continued awesomeness!
